A group for Christian artists - supported by Hopeweavers

Arising is all about God and creativity. We provide a safe, non-judgemental space where Christians can explore and express their faith through their creative activity.

Our gatherings include a time of sharing our art-making and opportunity for spiritual reflection. We generally start with a simple ’bring and share’ meal.  We meet every four to six weeks, either in the evening from 6.30 - 9.00pm or on Saturdays from 12.00 - 4.00pm in the Botley area.

Please contact Susan if you would like to come along to any of these events, or to find out more about Arising,

Our aims:

  • To support, encourage and inspire one another regardless of church background, artistic training or experience;
  • To help each other enhance and deepen our spiritual lives through our creativity;
  • To help one another explore creative ways of expressing our insights of God, faith and Christian life;
  • To provide space and opportunity for our art to be seen by others and shared in our communities.
