Come and be part of our emerging community...

Alongside our regular quiet days on Fridays and Saturdays, we offer Wednesdays once a month as a Community Day.

Opening with Morning Prayer at 8.45am (9.30am in Autumn/Winter months), the day has a structure of prayer at four set times including a 12.00noon informal Holy Communion whenever possible. We usually use the Hopeweaver Daily Office.  A programme of work and projects led by a variety of different people encourage us to focus outwards towards emerging work and inwards in terms of our own discipleship. You are most welcome to come and go during the day depending on your availability and interests.

If you would like to come to any part of the day, please book your place with Geoff.  If you intend being here at lunch time, we share a 'bring and share' lunch together.

11.15am - Personal reflection and quiet time
12.00noon - Midday Prayer and Holy Communion
1.00pm - Lunch - please bring some food to share together
1.30pm - Afternoon work - by your choice ...maybe in the emerging kitchen garden, or creative work sometimes led by visiting artists, or making a contribution as part of a record of the day in various forms for the ongoing Community Day Journal, or baking, as examples.
4.30pm - Tea and cakes.
5.00pm - Preparation of Evening meal/personal reflection
5.30pm - Evening Prayer
6.15pm - Evening meal together
6.45pm - Preparation for 'the Gathering' - why not come after work?
7.30pm - Evening Gathering - please bring something that you like to drink
8.30pm - Night Prayer
9.00pm - Close of our day together
